Matisse Hamel-Nelis (she/her) is an award-winning communications and digital accessibility consultant based in Toronto. She’s the principal of Matisse Nelis Consulting, a part-time professor at Durham College, and host of the PR & Lattes podcast. A certified Accessible Documents Specialist (ADS) and Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC), Matisse co-authored Accessible Communications: Create Impact, Avoid Missteps and Build Trust with Lisa Riemers. Her work helps organizations build inclusive, equitable communications.
Lisa Riemers is an independent communications consultant, author and accessibility advocate who helps clients connect their people and tell their stories. Based in London, UK, Lisa advises large and complex organisations including world-leading universities, charities, insurers, business-to-business (B2B) companies and the UK government. She is a frequent speaker at conferences and events, co-hosts the WB-40 podcast, and loves talking about bridging the gap between people, communications and technology.
Amanda Alvarado is a passionate advocate for inclusive and accessible communication, bringing nearly two decades of experience in the localization industry to her work. As a Solutions Consultant at RWS, she partners with global brands to go beyond translation, leveraging AI enabled solutions and scalable workflows to design truly inclusive content experiences.
